Uploading Files Using Fugu for Mac OS X Users

1. Open the Fugu application from the Applications menu.

2. Fill in the following fields:

• Connect to: neuron4.psych.ubc.ca
• Username: your_psych_email_user_name
• Port: 22
• Directory: Leave this field blank.
• Click on the Add to Favorites button.
After you have added the server to your Favorites list, you can select it from the Favorites pop-up button, with the globe symbol and located below the Connect to text box.
• Click on the Connect button.

3. In the next window, type in your email/Linux password and then press on the Authenticate button.

4. After successful login, you can start transferring files by dragging them. Left-hand side window contains your current local folder content while right-hand side displays files and folders on the server.

5. When you are ready to log out, quit the Fugu.

*** NOTE! ***

When you are off-campus (using a non-UBC service) or while you are on the UBC Wireless Network, you must first establish myVPN connection to UBC using your CWL account.
